Fun Friday!

"Greedy Cat is hungry", was a favourite book today. We discussed characters and turned the book into a play!
We drew Greedy Cat, and we worked some more on Splat the Cat.
We studied a new poem: "Look". We all have a Greedy Cat book in our book bags as well.

Writing

We are writing more and more in our writing books. Placemats are used to locate letter shapes and high frequency words. Ka pai Ruma Tahi!

Maths

Today we learned to play Yatzee with a buddy. We add the two dice together and cross off the number on the game board. We can now play this game independently with others!  Tumeke!

What a fine summery sunny afternoon  for our Junior Swimming Sports. Well done to all the swimmers and thank you to the parents and grandparents for coming along and cheering us on!

Swimming Sport and Writing Goals...

On Wednesday 2  - 3pm Room 1 and 2 will hold their Junior swimming sports.
Venue: School Pool.
You are invited to attend.
If it is too cold or raining, it will be held on the next fine day.

On another note: today we wrote for the first time in our writing books: exciting!
