Marvellous Musical Friday!

Today was Katrina's second visiting day. Her mum came along and showed us all their musical instruments. There was a guitar, a bugle, a trombone and a clarinet. Mrs Winter also showed us how music is written. Then we accompanied her on the guitar, shaking our shakers. What a great morning!

Play centre visit...

Our Play Centre kids and parents came for a visit. We had a very busy morning...So busy that the camera didn't even come out! But it was nice to get this message!

Working in a team...

We have learned about symbols we can use to make different  sounds with our hands and feet. This afternoon children worked in teams and designed their own "storms"! FUN!

Terrific Tuesday...

Just a snaphot of a very busy Tuesday. We learned about Tawhirimatea, we created wind storms, we made kites and wrote stories. We also did maths, drama, read books, printed, made things and played games. Pfew, what a day!
