A wee while ago we carefully transferred a chrysalis into our classroom. We were so lucky, it hatched while we were looking. Here is what happened.

A big welcome to Sean, who started school today. Happy Birthday Sean and Happy Schooldays!

Our science and social studies learning this term

We are studying the effects of plastics pollution on sealife. We are first comparing landlife to sealife.
All children helped to create a Venn diagram. We will be studying this more closely in the coming week. We are going to learn the difference between "needs and wants" and what the needs are for sea and land creatures.

Today we welcomed Hunter and his mum Sam to our classroom. We read an autumn poem and we made autumn leaves. After that we had some self chosen activities....  And guess what...they decided to play schools! :)
