We looked at many panels created by Maori carvers. We have also learned to use a soft drawing pencil. Here is some of our work....

Play Centre visit today.

We welcomed the Play Centre children, who visit once a term, with our special song. We talked about measurement and especailly about measuring time. We talked about the days of the week and read The Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. We learned about the ay-chunk in day, may, say, stay, way and away.
We learned, laughed, sang and talked. Good-bye friends, see you all next week when we visit you!
