Fun Friday...

Today we learned an old folk dance from Bohemia ( thank you Mrs Winter) and we made guitars. We did a lot of singing and had some very noisy musical jam sessions...
Wishing everyone safe and happy holidays! Ka kite, catch you next term!

Creating "things"...

We love to do work in the craft corner, although we do occasionally get stuck to the carpet ourselves. But, all in all, many new things are invented here.

Here is Max with his amphibian vehicle!

Maori Language Week

We read "The old woman and the Spiders" and now we are retelling the stories in pictures and words...

We made spiders and baskets. The spiders were easy, the baskets a bit of a challenge!

Football and Netball...

Well done to our football players this season...
And well done to our netball players too!

Maori language week!

It is Maori language week. We already know some Te Reo. We can count to 20, we can greet people politely. We know our colours, and we can sing some waiata. We also know where our mahunga, pakahiwi, puke, hope and waewae are.
Now we are listening to lots of stories and responding to them.
