Our writing wall

On Friday we put together our learning wall for writing. 

Mister Marshmallow plays a huge part in that. All Room 1 children are helping him with his writing!

We  gave him some reading glasses, so he can focus on his work!

 

 

Children themselves put their names on their next step for writing (written on Post-It notes).

You will also be able to find your child's next step for writing and reading in their Homework books. 

 

The fantail...

Today we learned about the Fantail, one of our beautiful little birds.

We read some stories!

We hosted two very special visitors today: Jackie and Isla.

We loved having you in Room 1. We hope you enjoyed your morning!

 We made fantail puppets and we wrote fantail stories!

 

We are thinking of making something that is able to find and catch all those nasty pests and predators that endanger the lives of these beautiful birds.
