Term 4 2017

Holidays!

We still had a bit of time left before our final assembly of the year.  We danced, played games, listened to stories and jokes and shared Christmas wishes.  What a lovely way to end the year!

Last school-day for the year....

Today some senior students came and entertained us with their stories. Wow, three young authors from Te Waotu School! Thank you for reading your awesome stories to us!

Welcome to the students of 2018!

A great big welcome to our newest students starting in 2018 who visited us this morning.  We were learning about shapes, so they all made dinosaurs using different shapes.  Here they are.  Welcome to Lily, Heidi, Jude, Ari and Marco!

A special visitor today...!

Our special visitor today was a ...baby bird!
We sketched, we planned and we wrote.
We had to use adjectives. Here is our inspiration and our work!
We were also learning about simple sentences, capital letters, full stops!

The week that was..

...and what a beautiful week it was. Gorgeous summer weather, playing touch with parents, playing in the sand pit, climbing trees... and working hard in class.

We have been looking at patterns, making patterns and of course robbing stories from somewhere to retell them with beginning, middle and end! Thanks Mrs Hunt for helping us!
